Leather seat pad with high backrest.This unique creation would have been ridden on by a small child during religious festivals in southern IndiaUnder the peacock's left claw is a wooden cobra, the peacock is a destroyer of snakes and was believed to swallow their venom. It then used the poisons it swallowed to create it’s colourful plumage.
