The house is located in Patagonia, Argentina, on a gently sloping land with views of the lake and the hills Gutierrez Cathedral Window and Otto. As a first approach, we reflect on the type of link that we establish with the landscape. In that sense we think of a list of contrasts between circulation spaces and tight spaces, seeking an intense and direct the first, and protected with framed views on others.
To make up these spaces, we propose a set of articulated timber volumes transparent circle, each prism is an instance and the path length is the life of the home. Happen spaces and environments are used according to whether they are tight or pass the exit and enter each space is reinforced by the contrasts in relation to the outside.
The five wooden prisms seek to position themselves in the landscape of a simple and blunt, establishing a relationship with the landscape in contrast with a not so domestic image so as to strengthen the character of the object in a landscape. Formally each box follows the slope of the roof required by the regulations of the region, seeking in this way that the roof has no presence as a separate item but is another face of a prism. In turn, this inclination generates internally a different spatial configuration.
The house is for a family vacation, according to the number of occupants, the boxes are activated, looking for the house occupied and perceived lack of family rather than the feeling of an empty house.
