A lovely house with lots of natural light and generous, well proportioned rooms, our client initially felt there was very little that needed updating. The existing kitchen was clearly too small for a family and the ground floor and garden were not terribly user-friendly. We remodelled an existing, long kitchen/diner into two spaces, and reimagined the long strip of garden by colour-matching stone at one end to the dining area of the new ktichen/diner and positioned mirrors behind the planting. We also opened up the study on to a new upper terrace.
As the renovation progressed, it became clear there were gains to be made in almost every room, and the project evolved into almost a complete overhaul. The entire house was rewired and replumbed, the bathrooms were updated and we created a new study. We also improved the front garden to offer privacy with space for the children to play. The outcome is a beautiful and timeless interior, hallmarked with an abundance of quality finishes to create a luxurious home.
What kind of wall and garden fencing options are there?
