Delphi Greek Restaurant and Bar

Best hummus I've ever had! I love their wine deals. We love coming here and getting a bottle of wine with hummus and pita (served warm)! I've been here many times, definitely recommend!

This place is criminally slept on. First off - I love Greek food. I love authentic taverna style Greek food. Eating here, I felt like I was back in a gorgeous classic family owned taverna. You can tell the owner really cares about the feel of the spot. Spotlessly clean, the decoration is classic Greece, brings me right back. Our waitress was super sweet - seated us quickly and we got a Greek beer to start the meal in an ice cold glass, frosty. Great start. I LOVE taramasalata. I get it every time it's on the menu, and I've never found one quite like when I'm in Greece, but here it was. Fresh, lemony, bright, the right balance of roe with herbs, light, fresh, beautiful on the palette. Fantastic start to the meal, I'll be back regularly for this dish. Generous portion as well. Secondly, I always crave true, proper saganaki, and boy did this spot deliver, flames, bubbling cheese, and crispy cheesy crust in all its glory. Perfectly lemony as well, could close my eyes and taste Greece. 10/10. Also a sucker for a horiatiki salad. The dressing uses an excellent olive oil with low acidity, again, I felt like I was back on Crete. Fresh vegetables, crispy, light, excellent quality feta and olives. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. The lamb paidakia was perfect. Cook was done like how it should be, with some char and sear on the outside. Beautiful herbs on top, tender, fat was rendered, the lamb itself was beautifully butchered and crispy in the right spots while tender and flavorful. I can't sing the praises of this spot highly enough. If you like TRUE Greek food, this is the best in Los Angeles, hands down. And we have been on the hunt for years. Excellent excellent quality and kind management who truly cares about your experience from start to finish. We will be back soon

Our recent visit to Delphi Greek in Westwood was a comedy of errors, and not the funny kind. We ordered Pork Souvlaki but were served Chicken Souvlaki instead, while still being charged the extra $10 for the Pork. And that wasn't all; they charged us an extra $5 for a Falafel Plate when we just ordered (and received) Falafel. When we called to address this culinary con job, the waiter and manager were more interested in practicing denial than customer service. They flat-out refused to admit any wrongdoing. As if that weren't enough, the restaurant's decor featured an unwelcome cast of flies and mosquitoes, adding a new dimension to the dining experience. In short, they managed to mess up our order, overcharge us, and then serve us attitude when we called them out. If you enjoy surprise charges, subpar service, and sharing your meal with insects, this place is for you. For the rest of us, there are plenty of other restaurants that appreciate our patronage and can manage to get the basics right.

The customer service at this place was absolutely terrible, making it one of the worst places I've ever been to. The female server was extremely unprofessional. If you are the owner and would like more information about the staff you have employed, please reach out to me. I will be sharing my experience on X platform soon.

Do not order food from here if you are using the app “too good to go.” They completely scam you and the food was disgusting. The point of the app is to prevent food waste and restaurants to sell food at a discounted rate that would otherwise be wasted/ thrown away at the end of the day. (Example: they sell a to-go meal someone never ended up picking up) The expectation is that the purchased meal is food from the menu/ what the restaurant typically serves. So tell me why I received a meal of 2 salmon hotdogs with no buns and some nasty pasta. That’s not even Greek food. And there is no salmon hotdogs or pasta on the restaurant’s actual menu. It felt like they cooked that meal specifically for people who purchased the meal through the app. This defeats the purpose of the app. This is the literal description the about Delphi Greek Restaurant on the app: “Rescue a surprise bag which may contain tabouli, Melitzanosalata, hummus, Dolmades, Tiropita, Spanakopita, Keftedakia, Falafel, desserts, and/or other surprises! Variety and specific items not guaranteed. Some items may need to be reheated.” I get nothing is guaranteed but this is incredibly misleading for what I purchased and was served. Salmon hotdogs with no buns and pasta without tomato sauce isn’t Greek and it’s barely even edible. The staff was nice and the restaurant looks nice but do NOT order food from here via the app too good to go

Owner was nice. Kids created ruckus watching the aquarium, didn't mind at all. Food was amazing. A lot of options. They even had a decent pizza. Basmati rice was like butter. Gyro was unconventional but still quite yummy.

First time in L.A and a Greek food lover. Loved the little cute cozy dining room. Friendly and attentive owner. Delicious hummus. There is an appetizer that I never learn the name. I call them Greek puffs spanakopitas or something like that. Absolutely delicious. Enjoyed the place very much. I reco.mend Delphi Greek 100 percent. If I ever find myself in L.A definitely will be back.

This restaurant is INCREDIBLE. We were completely blown away. We ordered off of Uber eats and it came hot & fresh. We had the halloumi to start… it was unreal)! My husband ordered the chicken gyro plate and said it was the best chicken gyro he has ever had (and we eat a lot of Mediterranean food). I had the rainbow trout with roasted potatoes and it was truly enough to feed two. Hefty portions and absolutely DELICIOUS. Every bite more tasty than the one before. Also the hummus!!! Best ever!!! I have never written a google review for a delivery order before but I was so blown away by the quality of this restaurant that I felt I must. We will definitely be ordering from here again :)

Dirty place with disgusting food. Cannot believe they are in business.

Never picking up doordash from this restaurant again. The owners are not taking advantage of the amazing amount of space available in the front of their restaurant to allow doordash drivers to pop in and out with food to the satisfaction of the customers and the delivery drivers. Instead, doordash drivers are asked to pick up orders from the back alley and it doesn't only take up more time which takes from everyone's pockets and livelihoods, it's awkward & the back looks disgusting. Weird customs.

WORST GREEK FOOD EVER!!!!! Server messed up entire order. Gyro meat is not authentic, it’s microwaved “meat”. Instant stomach ache after eating. Pita bread was not even cooked, slapped on the plate straight from the bag. Absolutely disgusting! This is a disgrace to Greek food.

The falafel was absolutely delicious. The BEST falafel I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered the falafel pita wrap with a salad it was delicious! The dressing on the salad was amazing. Food is a 5 stars but the place need a couple of adjustments. There is a huge light tilting constantly and it drove me crazy since I arrived. Also the place has too much blue. They even have a long blue light around the ceiling. It didn’t make me feel good. Colors are suppose to make you feel good. They need to eliminate some blue.

worst food ever! I've asked for refund. Calamari was hard and certainly made days ago. Octopus was tasteless. Only good thing was eggplant and cucumbers. Don't order from this Greek Delphi.

Not pet friendly. Owner and cashier double charged me. Instead of dolma meat they sent me vegetable dolmades. Not ok for food either. Bones all over in this trout.

I rarely leave reviews but this was so bad, I feel compelled to do so. From out of town, visiting family. I love falafel!!! This neighborhood should have excellent falafel!!! My expectations were high. This was perhaps this worst falafel I’ve ever had. Simple pita, cut in half. Two small falafel balls per half. Falafel tasted pre-made and reheated. Served with some lettuce, tomato, a bit of onion, and some weird thick herbed butter/cheese spread? Where is the tahini? One pita half was totally soggy and disgusting. Ugh. Very boring and poor quality. My father has enjoyed ordering dinner here, so maybe I just ordered the wrong item? For a falafel pita, gyros pita, and 12 oz. side of tabouli (which was perfectly fine), + $5 tip on a to go order, the total was $41.19. You figure it out.

Ordered Saganaki cheese flamed with cognac , dolmades meatballs and the fillet mignon souvlaki. Paired with a 1924 double black cabernet red wine. Very delicious everything is house made.

We have been ordering from this place for over a year pretty frequently, but recently we noticed the quality of the meat has gone down. It seems that they are using “fake” chicken (like the meat used for nuggets). I hope they go back to the old meat because their food used to be pretty good.

My wife and I adore this place. The always accommodating and wonderful staff have been great to catch up with over the years. I can recommend the Leg of Lamb in a big way and their seafood game is no joke. I'm constantly tempted to swing by and treat it like a Greek Tapas. I really enjoy their appetizers with a set of Hillas beers; a great way to pre-game for the excellent ice cream next door at Saffron. This place is the total package, I hope everyone gets a chance to try it out!

We really enjoy Delphi Greek. We've ordered it for almost 2 years now through GrubHub, Uber Eats, and now directly through the Delphi Greek website (via ChowNow) since we got a DG membership. We've never had any problems with any of the deliveries, and the food has always been ready early and hot. We tend to get the chicken kebab pita and the fries most frequently. The garlic sauce is also delicious (it's very similar to Lebanese toum). Once you figure out what you like, the food is reliably good and it's become a very affordable go-to on nights when we unexpectedly need to order in.

Fine place for delicious greek food. Honestly my favorite evening place. I will be back with my coworkers. Feeling here is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I liked.

Good place for tasty greek food. Cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. The place has a great atmosphere.

This place was really underwhelming. They really seem like they are phoning it in. The gyro wrap looked and tasted like it was not freshly made. It wasn't hot, even though we picked it up right as it was ready. The calamari had a weird taste to it.

My favorite location for delicious Greek food. Great location to chill, eat some good food. The service was very sociable and kind. Prices are appropriate. I see why this place has so many good reviews.
