is an international operating firm established in 1989 and based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Three partners, Marianne Loof, Adriaan Mout and Jurriaan van Stigt, and a team of 25 people work on a wide range of projects. The assignments vary from high density housing combined with (mid-scale) urban design to complex mixed assignments with health care and cultural buildings, as well as the restructuring of former industrial buildings and redevelopment of monumental buildings in inner cities.
With the expertise in creating Dutch livability LEVS focusses on creating good living environments with balanced architecture, combining high density with low- and mid-rise housing, both in urban as well as in suburban densities. The key to creating a good living environment is a combination of different aspects on different scales, from sustainable urban layout to good public space and architecture.
