Ana Proença, with the Alentejo in her heart, is a restless and obstinate mind and loves to travel.
She values aesthetics and along with architecture, fashion and music are her great passions. A true Animal Print addicted!
Graduated in Architecture by the Lusíada University of Lisbon, she worked in several Architecture offices and even integrated teams of Advertising and Design at national and multinational agencies, where she developed skills in project development and coordination of creative teams.

Célia Mestre, adventurous from an early age, loves travelling without a destination and getting to know different cultures through her gastronomy.
Her latest adventure has been motherhood, which daily requires her to reconcile professional and family projects - the perfect challenge for a true expert of method and organisation.
With a degree in Architecture from Modern University of Lisbon and Polytechnic Institute of Milan, she has worked in architectural studios in Milan, Lisbon, Funchal and Ponta Delgada, and has consolidated experience in all phases of design process.

They both met in 1998, during their first job in an architecture office, and became friends. Since then, they have always kept in touch, spent holidays together and jokingly said: "One day we will work together!
It was in April 2005 that a challenging project appeared and made them create Atelier Spacemakers!
Even today, they work to offer integrated project solutions by designing exclusive and differentiated spaces where aesthetic quality and functionality are balanced to jointly meet the expectations of those who inhabit them.

Ana was one of the designers of the TV show 'Querido Mudei a Casa', on Sic Mulher. She was also Coordinator Teacher of the Interior Design Course at the Escola Profissional Magestil, where Célia was also a teacher. They both taught the Interior Design Short Course at the Fashion School of Lisbon.
