Copper house is a new luxurious four bedroom town house, located on a tight urban site to the rear of the former Joseph Yates timber yard on Kensington Church Street in London. Entirely clad in standing seam copper and glass the house reused timber from the former timber yard building.

Philip was project architect for Conran & Partners when they were commissioned by Stonehurst Estates for the small urban site in Kensington. The house forms an L shape with all the rooms facing into a central courtyard, optimising the light with a highly glazed elevation to the south while minimising overlooking of the neighbours with a glass fin wall to the uppper level master bedroom terrace.
