This was a neglected 1950's property that needed a huge lot of atention as the garden was overgrown, all the plumbing and electrics were dangerous and and the floors were really uneven so the property was not liveable. The goal was to bring this property back to life by using its full extending potential to create a
Social Kitchen-diner-living area by knocking trough the new rear extension and using modern and minimalist features combined with English Heritage natural colours from the Georgian period .
The first floor layout was reshaped to allow for the installation of a new staircase in to the loft and to create a hallway in to the new extension. In order to do this we had to give up the small bedroom but we were still able to achieve one master bedroom with an ensuite, one guest bedroom, one family bathroom and a single bedroom on this floor.
The loft now houses a king size bright bedroom with an ensuite and a full width fitted wardrobe which allows for a sun tunnel to bring natural light in to the downstairs ensuite (getting to this result was quite a challenge but we finally made it work )
