This extension was built prior to planning of the kitchen, presenting a blank canvas for the designers to work with, along with a brief from the owners that they wanted a’Statement kitchen for entertaining in, that functions as a kitchen but without looking too much like a kitchen!’

To this end, the recessed and discreet black kitchen units at the far end of the kitchen contain a sink and tap, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, steam oven, integrated fridge, freezer and tall wine cooler.
