The centre will work with and support industry, both to protect the value of UK farming and to bring new products and services to market. It will also support the economic growth of the Yorkshire region, with the ongoing development of the Sand Hutton Applied Innovation Campus.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) at Fera were launched in 2010. They were envisaged as flexible, informal platforms that would support networking within the organisation, encourage interdisciplinary work, buy essay online and generate novel ideas for food and environment research.
