View toward the St. Charles side of campus, from Freret Street. The building curves through the existing structure of it’s surroundings. The heavy existing building is offset by the delicacy of the new glass + steel structure.
The continuous flow of traffic through the breezeway is complemented by the motion of the building, as well as by the inhabitation of the public interior space, where long queues form parallel to the movement without.
