The ground floor Guest Suite, with cement floor tile in gray and white, with accent black and white tiles at perimeter. With brick walls, ductwork needed to be overhead, and is incorporated into cove ceiling detail, with traditional pressed tin in taller sections. Guest bedroom can open to main parlor room by opening full height pocket doors. Cabinets finished with ”Elvis blue” wash paint finish, a mix of black, blue, and gray streaks.

In the parlor, sculpture by David Borgerding sits in front of historic fireplace location, and leads to small wet bar beyond. Wet bar with matching Elvis blue cabinetry, and countertop in recycled paper composite panels. Backsplash with antique mirror glass. Jack and jill bathroom beyond with white glass shower to provide privacy for separate sink/toilet rooms. Cove ceilings and cool light above give a feeling of a skylight to an area of the plan with no windows.

All brick walls finished with breathable lime based wash finish.
