Jodhpur based Residence of plot size 60’x90‘ was conceived as the family home for two brothers who dreamt to share same compound while leading their own individual family life.
As an Architect, the first realization came after required Area analysis that eventually led to the construction of approx. 15500 Sqft areas on relatively small compound of 5400 Sqft.
The major impact of this was on the mass of structure, a G+3 construction imposed on a relatively low height residential streetscape with a certain character, which was cleverly fine balanced by the use of Jodhpur stone and earthy tone materials on contemporary façade. While the Jodhpur and Silver travertine stone justifies the streetscape while exhibiting a great command of simplicity and verticality, the incorporation of contrasting tones of Granite, wood and designer tiles add the contemporary drama while transition between outdoor and indoor spaces.
A rather symmetrically designed compound wall boasts creative mélange of materials on main gates designed with stainless steel and fiber boards with the elemental touch of broken glass. This further leads to spacious porch area with classic neutral shades.
