Contemporary details blend with a revisited classic style and the charm of ancient Rome in two wonderful accommodation facilities in the heart of the Eternal City, thanks to the skilful renovation conducted by Alberto Cerracchio and Adina Berti of the Art of Living studio, with thirty years of experience in restyling, interior decoration, restoration and interior design.
The works carried out for both locations have involved the use of local materials and the careful research of Italian skilled workers for the interior decoration.
Let's immediately discover the result obtained at the Navona Grand Suite and the renderings of the realization in progress of a fascinating five-star hotel.
Few but well-targeted stylistic devices can revive old environments, giving them new vigour even without making major economic investments. This is confirmed by the renovation and restyling project masterfully carried out by Art of Living for the Navona Grand Suite, inside the historic Palazzo Scapucci in Rome: an apartment of over 300 square meters transformed into a luxurious b & b with a comfortable and refined character.
The challenge, successfully won by the team thanks to its know-how about materials and craftsmanship, consisted primarily in keeping the charm of the past intact and pulsating, while renovating all the rooms to give them greater value and comfort, all in the face of a limited budget.
The work thus began with the ennobling of the ceilings and the renovation of the floors, which now tell a unique and precious decorative project, in which the suggestions of the present are mixed with the traces of a sophisticated past. An operation clearly visible in the corridor, in which the solid wood slatted floor is enriched with decorated ceramic inserts.
The main protagonists of the rooms are also the finely chosen wallpapers, in balance with the stylistic approach of the building. The interior is completed by wooden details custom-made for the project, from skirting boards to the sumptuous frames of the mirrors.
Even the bathrooms reflect the refined taste that characterizes the entire structure. The furnishings, carefully chosen, restored and sometimes revisited, recall an intriguing neoclassical style, enriched by intense colors on the wall and refined coatings but with a strong visual impact.
An example of this are the tiles chosen in this bathroom, as decoration for the shower cubicle and the floor, ideal for framing the size and implementing the desired atmosphere, in the image and likeness of a typical house of patrician Rome.
The precious wooden ceilings have been restored and subsequently ennobled with gold stencil decorations, thus becoming an element of high value that elegantly completes the rooms.
