We found the perfect Bohemian design styled three-bedroom home in Bangalore, and we are touring it today! The Interior Designers & Decorators from Aikaa Designs in Chennai have done a fantastic job of executing the client’s vision. The bright colour palette is combined well with some beautiful neutral tones. The overall effect is warm and inviting, and we are absolutely in love with it. Let’s start our tour.

The living room

The first thing that draws our eye is the pop of colour throughout the room. The living room is set up to be a comfortable lounging area, where one can work, study, relax or watch television. The TV unit is set up to face the comfy couches. The teal upholstered sofas with colourful striped pillows create a beautiful contrast. The TV unit has a wooden wall with shelves on either side of the TV, creating a beautiful space.

The dining area

The dining area is laid out on one side of the open layout. We love the gorgeous carpet placed on the floor. It serves to enhance the beauty of the room even further by demarcating the dining area from the rest of the space using a different block of colour. The wooden accents throughout the design look amazing.

A wider view

Let’s step back to get another perspective of the living room. The bright wall behind the sofas is an eye-catcher for sure. The teal sofas look right at home here. The muted beige and gold handwoven rug is the perfect antithesis for the bright sofa and pillows. We can also see that the open layout has partial dividers in the form of wooden screens that help keep the spaces separate.

Gorgeous details

The details throughout the house are unique and stunning. We love that the designers have chosen some bold colours for the walls. The green by the dining table is soothing and a sight for sore eyes. The dining room furniture is made from lightly polished wood, complementing the green tone very well. Right opposite the dining table is a handmade cabinet that stands on a wrought iron frame.

Open layout

We end our home tour with another view of the house. Here, we can see that the house has an open layout. The visual partition between the living room and dining area keeps the spaces separate but still connected for conversation. The bright colours work well together. When using such colours, there is always the risk of over-stimulating the space with clashing tones. However, here, the designers have done a fantastic job with the entire home, especially with choosing the right colour palette.
