Today we take a tour of a 2BHK apartment located in Marol, Mumbai. A project by Midas Dezign, Interior Architects in Mumbai, this beautiful apartment is designed to look open, elegant and luxurious. The tour will provide many ideas and some great inspiration. Let’s get started.
The lounge area is uniquely constructed. Instead of providing sofas, the designers have turned the entire space into a huge seating area, almost like a theatre. There are large windows on one side of the room, with a TV on one of the other walls.
Another view of the lounge area shows us that it has an open layout. Since it’s a two bedroom apartment, the designers have tried to create the illusion of space. There is a partial partition that leads into the dining area and the rest of the house.
Moving from the living room, we see the small dining area. It appears not to have a table, but actually, it is fitted into the wall and can be replaced if the homeowners need more space. The gorgeous black chairs are comfortable and stylish.
The kid’s bedroom uses an array of bright colours. Here, we see that half the room has been devoted to creating a study area with a table along with some furniture for storage. The cyan blue pops out from the walls and creates a very calming atmosphere in the room.
The details in the room’s interior design are quite beautiful. Opposite the study table is the wardrobe that consists of two cupboards, with a full-length mirror in the middle. The cream laminate used in the closets looks elegant and balances the brightness of the blue walls and ceiling.
Finally, we take a look at the cosiest corner of the kid’s bedroom. A single bed is placed in the corner. The bed frame is made from dark, polished wood. The wall above the bed has a continuous shelf that extends throughout its length, creating storage and display space for the room.
The master bedroom takes us into a world of elegance. The use of wood on the walls is quite appealing and gives the room a stylish and sophisticated feel. The ceiling has a wooden panel running through it, with concealed lighting creating a soft atmosphere in the room. An elegant study table is placed in one corner of the room.
The designers have used each space in this room very well. The corner is utilised to hold a set of cupboards. There is also a large window on one side, which has a window seat that doubles as storage.
The kitchen is decorated in bright colours, creating a fun atmosphere. The appliances have been given their own space, with the rest of the counter space utilised for work.
The backsplash is colourful, and we absolutely love it! The use of a deep shade of green, contrasted with the white in the storage drawers is a masterstroke in combining colours and creating a fantastic design.
