This design and fit out of Cheval Three Quays was the undertaken by the team at Forme UK. The luxury serviced apartment building is located on one of London’s most prominent riverside sites and offers exceptional views of the river Thames, the Tower of London and City Hall.

The development consists of 159 studio, one bed, two bed, three bed and penthouse serviced apartments available for short or long term rental. On the ground floor, residents and visitors are met with a luxurious main lobby reception. Complete with a gym complex and two penthouse apartments that overlook the Tower of London, the development spares no luxury, nabbing the Best for Exclusive Use category at the 2015 Condé Nast Johansens Annual Awards for Excellence.

Open plan living

The open plan living space sure spares no glitz and opulent glamour—from the plush carpet and furnishings to the detailed ceiling and dramatic light fixture—everything is characterised by a flamboyant, almost gaudy appeal.

Given this, the colour palette is actually somewhat subdued! A gradient of neutral hues are complimented by the vibrant gold cushions. For more living space inspiration, you'll find an array of ideas here!

A minimal kitchen

The kitchen opens onto the greater living area and is one of the more minimal spaces in the apartment. Glossy cream surfaces eschew handles in favour of a seamless aesthetic, stainless steel fixtures are crisp and sleek and an overhead bulkhead delimits the space.

After preparing that morning coffee, an enticing golden hued chair implores you to recline in comfort. Take a look here for more kitchen ideas—from minimal to kitsch and colourful—you are sure to find something that suits your tastes!

Bedroom and Sitting

Two doors, side by side, frame views into the bedroom and adjacent sitting area, both of which have floor to ceiling windows that offer impressive views of the cityscape beyond—and when one would prefer to shut the bustle of the city out, plush curtains await, ready to be drawn across as a shield to the outside realm.

Neutral hues characterise the spaces, while an injection of lavender adds a warmth and softness to the calming space of repose. For more bedroom ideas, take a look here!

Lavender hues and views

The lavenders, set against the charming tower of London and the murky green of the river Thames, create an almost whimsical quality. The recessed window heads, sills, and jambs create seamless connections between inside and out while also creating an achingly sleek and contemporary aesthetic. It is thoughtful, refined and carefully composed.

The Bathroom

The bathroom re-assumes the more glitzy appeal crafted in the open plan living area. A glossy and patterned veneer lines the walls, a sculptured vanity sits below the expansive mirror, and a large pendant light hovers above. The dark space void of natural light is artificially lit to great extent. For more bathroom ideas, take a look here!
