As the times have changed, traditional kitchen units have also been replaced by modular once. These prefabricated units are not only easy to put together. But can also be customized depending on the space available. Another great thing about modular kitchen units is that they come in a variety of colours and materials so that you can choose as per your preference. 1. Mosaic patterns

The thing that stands out with this beautiful modular kitchen is the mosaic pattern of the backsplash. The blue shade of the tiles perfectly complements the rest of the colour palette of the kitchen.

It is not essential that you leave the doors of your kitchen cabinets plane to make them look good. You can even try lining them off with lamination sheets as done by the Decor Dreams team.

3. Combination of red and white

Another great thing about modular kitchens is that you can combine units of different colours together. Here the designer has opted for a red and white interior which makes the kitchen look fabulous.

4. Ceiling cabinets

Small modular kitchens can also be made fully functional by adding extra ceiling cabinets like seen in this picture. You can even add a double row of shelves to get maximum storage area.

5. Off-white counters

6. A sleek island

A sleek island can also complement your modular kitchen layout. Although, you should line it with a similar pattern to the rest of the space to make it look harmonious.

7. With granite finish

In case you want to customize the countertops of your modular kitchen then lining them with granite is also a great idea. This material will go well with any colour theme that you might incorporate.

8. Completely black

11. Combining colours

You can even take inspiration from this picture and combine different colours together in your modular kitchen. Here the Decor Dreams team has lined the floor with red tiles whereas the counter is white and the walls are decorated with grey tiles.
